Why is the free tier limited to 5 reads/day?+
Three reasons. (1) Each read costs us money — Claude Sonnet 4.6 vision plus market data isn't free at scale. (2) Five reads/day is enough for genuine evaluation but not for someone running 30 charts a day on commercial trading. (3) Pro at $19/mo includes 100 reads/day, which is the level most active retail traders need.
Is there a free AI trading bot that auto-trades?+
There are free crypto bots (Pionex, basic 3Commas, some Cryptohopper plans) but most have meaningful limitations: paper-trading only, capped strategies, or hidden fees on the spread. Free autonomous bots for stocks are extremely rare because broker APIs cost money. tradr is intentionally not a bot — it's an AI trade analyser.
